Cheltenham's Waitrose shoppers supported Age Concern

Thank you to everyone who made use of their green token at Cheltenham's Waitrose store duing November. The total raised for Age Concern Gloucestershire was a fantastic £340.
For those who don’t know about the Community Matters scheme, Waitrose selects 3 charities every month. Every shopper is given a token as they come through the tills and encouraged to put it into the token bin for whichever of the 3 charities they choose. At the end of the month each bin is weighed and the charities get a donation proportionate to the number of tokens in their bins.

Posted In: General This year we were lucky enough to receive a donation that allowed us to make a film about our work. This film is now available to view here on our website!
Working closely with the award-winning film company, Omni Productions, we have produced a 3-minute film which tells one man's story. But it is a story that is recognisable to many of us.

Surplus Crockery
Posted In: General We have around 30 sets of plain white plates (large and small) and dessert bowls surplus to requirements. Robust and dishwasher-proof they are ideal for a community hall or cafe.
