We are . . .

the largest independent organisation in the county working with and for older people.   We are part of Age UK, the federation, complying with their quality standards.

We see . . .

a vision for older people in which they can retain their dignity, independence and quality of life.   We help them do this by providing a range of services which are appropriate to their needs, responsive, high quality and reliable.

We work . . .

to improve the quality of life for the older people of Gloucestershire by:

  • enabling them to make choices about their own lives
  • helping them to influence the society they live in
  • providing services that meet their needs
  • enhancing their independence and quality of life
  • Raising awareness of older people's issues
  • Challenging attitudes, policies and practices based on stereotyping or prejudice that discriminate against older people

Age UK Gloucestershire - making life better for older people throughout the county.
