Donating

There are many ways you can donate to Age UK Gloucestershire and all of them will help us to continue providing support to older members of your community.   We value every single donation, large or small, and thank you for thinking about supporting us with a financial gift.

Make An Online Donation

We can also accept donations by post, or in person.  A donation form can be downloaded by clicking the link at the bottom of this page.   Please make your cheque payable to Age UK Gloucestershire.  You can also visit us at our office in Station Road, Gloucester.  Please don't hesitate to call us on 01452 422660 if you'd like to find out more about making a donation.

Making a regular donation

You can donate to us regularly using Direct Debit or Standing Order.  If you wish to donate by Direct Debit please download and complete a form by clicking on the link below.   If you prefer to use a Standing Order, please telephone us for the information you require.

Don't forget to Gift Aid it

Gifts to charity are eligible for Gift Aid which means that if you pay UK income tax or Capital Gains Tax your donation could be worth a further 28p in every £1 donated, at no extra cost to you.   If you have donated to us in the past six years we can also claim Gift Aid retrospectively.   A Gift Aid declaration form is included as part of the downloadable donation form.

Remembering us in your will

You can help to safeguard the future of our work with the older people of Gloucestershire by leaving us a gift in your will.   A major part of our funding comes from the thoughtful gifts left to us as legacies.  These donations can make a significant difference to our work, helping to secure and expand our services and projects across the county.  We are an independent local charity so by choosing to leave a gift to us you can make a lasting impact on your community.   We know that thinking about writing a will can be challenging and is often a difficult subject to talk about but Age UK Gloucestershire can help you by providing information and advice.  Get in touch with us today if you would like to discuss making your will or if you would like to find out more about leaving a gift to charity.  (Tel:  01452 422660).

Donations in memory of a loved one

You may wish to celebrate the life of a loved one by making a donation in their memory at the funeral instead of giving flowers.   Your donation will help an older person in need and is sure to have a lasting effect on their lives.  If it is your wish to ask your family and friends to make a donation instead of buying flowers, just tell the funeral director.  It will then be arranged for the donation in lieu of flowers to be sent direct to Age UK Gloucestershire (registered charity number 1111773).
