Thank you to everyone who made use of their green token at Cheltenham's Waitrose store duing November. The total raised for Age Concern Gloucestershire was a fantastic £340.
For those who don’t know about the Community Matters scheme, Waitrose selects 3 charities every month. Every shopper is given a token as they come through the tills and encouraged to put it into the token bin for whichever of the 3 charities they choose. At the end of the month each bin is weighed and the charities get a donation proportionate to the number of tokens in their bins.
