The Acorn Centre

Age Concern Stroud & District run a day centre in Union Street in the centre of Stroud.    We aim to provide a welcoming and cheerful home-from-home for clients from Stroud and the surrounding villages.

The centre is open from Monday to Thursday each week from 9:45am to 2:30pm and can accommodate twenty clients each day.   A varied programme of entertainment and activities is available and members also enjoy tea and coffee and a hot lunchtime meal.   At just £6 a day we believe that this represents excellent value.   Transport to and from the centre is available through the Ring and Ride service.

For information or bookings, please get in touch with Frances Roberts, the Acorn Centre Manager on 01453 766533 between 10am and 2:30pm on Monday to Thursday.
